Why Social Skills Fridays Matter

Social skills are essential for building confidence, fostering friendships, and improving independence. At ASCEND, we believe in hands-on, interactive learning where participants not only listen but also practice skills through conversations, group discussions, and activities.

By rotating trainers, our program ensures variety and fresh perspectives. Each session offers participants a chance to learn in different styles—sometimes through storytelling, sometimes through role-play, and other times through practical demonstrations.

Continuing a Tradition of Growth

While this schedule highlights just one month, Social Skills are part of a larger, ongoing tradition at ASCEND. Our community looks forward to these Fridays each week, knowing it’s a time dedicated to learning, sharing, and building stronger social connections together.
